Shops at St. Pete (Bay Walk) tenants to include Soma, Luxottica, consultant says
Names in the tenant mix are emerging for the Shops at St. Pete, formerly BayWalk.
Deals include existing tenants Muvico, Chico’s, White House Black Market, and newcomers Island Co., Luxottica, and Soma Intimates, said Faith Hope Consolo, the New York-based retail brokerage expert who was hired last July to help with the makeover. Restaurants include a “Two Iron Chefs” concept and a celebrity coffee and desserts concept by New York restaurateur and Food Network personality

Wawa opens first Tampa Bay area store in Pinellas Park
People of Tampa Bay have a new word to add to their vocabulary.It’s “Wawa.”
Get ready to start hearing and saying it a lot. The Pennsylvania-based convenience store chain opens its first location in the area today, at 3101 Gandy Blvd. in Pinellas Park. The store is part of a major expansion into Central Florida and one of 100 locations planned over the next five years.
