A Florida real estate license,
Terrific sales and networking skills
An aptitude for understanding financial investment concepts

Responsibilities:

Provide market area research to clients so they can make an educated and informed decision
Follow up with all customer leads and requests in a timely and efficient manner to ensure superior customer service
Determine current market value of properties to ensure best possible purchase price for customers
Schedule and be present for all property inspections in order to assist clients with purchase/sale agreements
Seek out acquisition targets and grow book of leads to help ensure future growth
Be fearless in building new relationships by phone, mail and old fashioned shoe leather sales

Qualifications:

Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Self-motivated and self sufficient
Some sense of marketing and advertising practices
Knowledge of real estate industry practices and lease language

The most successful agents have at least one of four traits/skills/experience (the more the better):

Marketing/Advertising
Negotiating
Financial levers behind real estate/construction decisions
A significant amount of decision-maker contacts in any industry that leases, buys, or builds commercial real estate
Must have a valid Real Estate License or be in the process of completing necessary courses to secure a Florida Real Estate License
Not only wants to participate in but enjoys working with a team approach

INTERNSHIPS

We believe that the best way to learn about a career is to get hands-on experience in it. That’s why we offer college internships—because we know that the best way to learn about the world of real estate is by getting straight into it.

Florida ROI is looking for an intern that is interested in gaining experience in commercial real estate, including: leasing, sales and property management. Applicants must be an actively enrolled junior or senior that is pursuing a degree in business, with the ability to work 10 hours a week during the school year and 20 hours a week over the summer. It is also important that interns attend the meeting held every Tuesday in order to learn from team members.

We are looking for interns that are:

Actively enrolled to pursue Bachelor’s in Business Admin, Real Estate, Finance or Construction (Junior or Senior)
Professional interest in Commercial Real Estate or Development
Ability to work 20 hours in Summer and 10 hours during Fall
You will gain experience in leasing, sales, and property management

Role and Responsibilities:

Assist Sales Associates in obtaining information/data based on their current clients’ needs
Help Associates expand their clientele through research of recent sales
Handle the booking of podcast guests for the Invest Florida Podcast Show
Any other activities that may be needed to help with the firm

Preferred Skills:

Proficient with Excel/Google Sheets
Excellent Interpersonal Skills
Considering Commercial Real Estate as a potential career

Analyzed development plans
Conducted in-depth reviews of the Industrial marketplace in Pinellas and Hillsborough Counties
Aided in setting up our project management software
Created client on-boarding systems
